How is it different from other carriers?
It's a hip-seat carrier: a single padded band wraps around your waist and the seat sits on your hips, so your child's weight rests on your hips and legs instead of your arms and shoulders. It holds your child in the wide, seated "M-shape" position, stores your essentials in five pockets, and folds into a sling bag when you're done.
What age and weight does it suit?
3 months to about 3 years, up to 20 kg. In the first months it also gives you a steady base for feeding. Once your baby can hold their head up independently, you can use every carrying position.
Will it fit me?
The band fits waists up to 43.5 in / 110 cm. It's worn on the waist, not the hips. If two parents will share it, measure whoever is larger. There's a "Will it fit me?" checker higher up the page with a how-to-measure guide.
Is it hands-free?
Mostly. The seat holds your child's weight and keeps them stable, so both hands are free for everyday tasks. For an active toddler or on the move, most parents keep a light hand in place — the same as you naturally would.
Do doctors recommend hip-seat carriers?
The carrier holds your child in the wide, seated position — knees higher than hips, thighs supported to the knee — that paediatric physiotherapists generally describe as healthy for developing hips. Every child is different, so if your child has a diagnosed hip or spine condition, or was born prematurely, check with your paediatrician before using any carrier.
How do I carry it when not in use?
It folds down into a compact sling bag you keep on your shoulder — nothing to leave behind or carry separately when your child wants to walk.
How do I wash it?
Spot-clean when needed with a gentle soap or detergent — no fabric softener, bleach or strong chemicals. Wash fully only when necessary, and don't iron the padded straps and belt.
